Notice to Vacate

All good things must come to an end. If you signed the standard lease used by HappyDoors Property Management, both the landlord and tenant are required to provide a 45 day written notice to terminate the lease. This notice must be processed at least 45 days before the lease end date.

If you are on a month to month term, the 45 day notice can be provided at anytime. 

Tenant giving notice:

1. If emailing us your notice to vacate, we recommend that you mail a copy as well. This can ensure that your email isn't lost or accidentally flagged as spam.
2. You will be responsible to pay rent until the end of the full 45 day notice period, even if you move out sooner.

Landlord giving notice:

• If the lease is on a month to month term, you can move-out anytime after receiving a formal notice to vacate from the landlord.

Your final walkthrough can be scheduled by emailing us at customerservice@happydoorspm.com or by calling (808) 800-4152. Appointments are Monday through Friday between 10 am and 4 pm.
